About Developing Perceptions Photography
Having spent over 15 years learning the fine art of photography Andrew Ramsay, principal
photographer at Developing Perceptions, is well versed in the traditional techniques
upon which all photography is based.
When Andrew inherited a manual 35mm film camera it opened the door to discovering
a pursuit that Andrew has a true passion for and after years of experimentation
and self-taught lessons he launched the successful Developing Perceptions Photography
in his home town, Glasgow. Having spent years working in the many disciplines of
photography, Andrew has been able to decide very precisely what styles he enjoys
working with and these are the styles that Developing Perceptions now deal with.
The name Developing Perceptions was the result of a series of random conversations
followed by a brainwave. The entire concept behind the business, our driving force
if you will, has always been the desire to have people look at themselves and really
see what is there, in the flesh and beneath the surface. Our passion is fuelled
by the responses we get when someone sees themselves in a whole new light thanks
to our work. In our experience there is no such thing as an unphotogenic person,
there are only unimaginative photographers. We work hard to ensure that your images
are as surprising as they are pleasing.
By looking carefully at who you are, we can better mould our style around you to
produce a beautiful photograph which develops your perceptions, and helps reveal
more of your personality. We hope you are pleasantly surprised by what you see.
The photographs look great and we will have a difficult job deciding on which ones
to put into the album. We had a fantastic day and thank you for being there to capture
it. Many thanks again and we'll be in touch again soon.

We just got in and had a good look at the disc, we have got to say thank you for
the great photographs, they look brilliant and we are really pleased with results.
- Raintown
The photos look marvelous. We're both really happy with them. After much deliberation
- that wouldn't have looked out of place at the United Nations - we have decided
on the photos for the album.
